"The
Lalique Museum, Hakone" dedicates itself to
the collection of works by René Lalique,
a unique artist who bridged the art nouveau
and art deco movements of the 19th and 20th
century. For permanent exhibition, approximately
230 pieces of artworks including 40 pieces of precious
jewelries which makes rare appearance in Japan in
terms of volume and quality will be selected out
of 1,500 pieces of our collection. The exhibition
covers a wide range of the glass work such as perfume
bottles and vases which demonstrate the most advanced
quality and technology available in Lalique's era,and
also features architectural interior ornament designs
produced in the latter half of his life. "The
Lalique Museum, Hakone"introduces the lifetime
collection of France's foremost craftsman in glass
and exquisite jewelry.
At
the museum entrance, the decorative panel
for the mantelpiece Bouquet will
welcome visitors along with the chandelier
Hunting, and the glass panels
Roses and Poppies embedded in
the pillars.
Laliques
jewelries displayed in a permanent exhibition.
It features numbers of Laliques works
from the period when he was a jeweler, many
of which have rarely been introduced in Japan.
