The selection of Lalique flower vases
"The Lalique Museum, Hakone" dedicates itself to the collection of works by René Lalique, a unique artist who bridged the art nouveau and art deco movements of the 19th and 20th century. For permanent exhibition, approximately 230 pieces of artworks including 40 pieces of precious jewelries which makes rare appearance in Japan in terms of volume and quality will be selected out of 1,500 pieces of our collection. The exhibition covers a wide range of the glass work such as perfume bottles and vases which demonstrate the most advanced quality and technology available in Lalique's era,and also features architectural interior ornament designs produced in the latter half of his life. "The Lalique Museum, Hakone"introduces the lifetime collection of France's foremost craftsman in glass and exquisite jewelry.
At the museum entrance, the decorative panel for the mantelpiece “Bouquet” will welcome visitors along with the chandelier “Hunting”, and the glass panels “Roses and Poppies” embedded in the pillars.

Lalique’s jewelries displayed in a permanent exhibition. It features numbers of Lalique’s works from the period when he was a jeweler, many of which have rarely been introduced in Japan.
